The following page provides two years (1997 & 1998) of the Central Okanagan's Multiple Listing Service (MLS) sales and listing information. Although this data is in it's raw form, it should provide a general outlook on real estate activity here in the Okanagan Valley over the past couple of years. Of particular interest to those considering purchasing or selling real estate are the changes in overall activity and average sales prices during these past couple of years; with 1998 showing a marked decrease in real estate activity here in the Central Okanagan. Since then, however, the market has picked-up considerably and has returned to or exceeded previous years levels.
